JKUAT INTER-VARSITY TAX MOOT
The 2nd Edition of the JKUAT Inter-varsity Tax Moot Competition was hosted at JKUAT Karen Campus and drew participation from 17 universities across the country, cementing its place as the only tax moot competition held in Kenya.
The competition was organised by the JKUAT Mooting Club, under the leadership of Maureen Ndanu, and brought together law students, faculty, judges and industry practitioners for two days of rigorous oral advocacy on complex tax and revenue law questions.
JKUSA Karen was proud to sponsor this edition of the competition, and was formally recognised with a certificate of appreciation for supporting one of the most demanding and specialised mooting fixtures on the national calendar.
Beyond the trophies and rankings, the tax moot advanced the wider goal of building a serious tax bar in Kenya — equipping students with the analytical rigour, courtroom composure and technical fluency the field demands.
JKUSA Karen extends its congratulations to the Mooting Club, all 17 participating universities, the judges, and every student who argued in the rounds.
